This show from Theatrerotto, well-known for their original style, has been wowing young and family audiences around the country. The performance was created from the tales of Aesop and features recycled materials and found objects that become puppet characters, while live music accompanies the story of mischief with an eco message.
Direction came from the late Christopher Leith, former director of the Little Angel in London.
FOREST of FABLES weaves together several famous tales, kicking off with THE NORTH WIND & THE SUN where persuasion proves to be greater than force. The show surprises with the variety of puppet creations and characters - some of which come to life before the eyes of the audience.
“With mime, puppets, sound, a small amount of dialogue and live music, this enchanting show captures the audience.” - Primary Times
FOREST of FABLES has an optional accompanying workshop where children make their own ‘forest’ character using arts and crafts materials – some of which are recycled items making it as eco-friendly as possible.
